Ashville College is an independent day and boarding school for girls and boys aged 4–18 years. Situated in Harrogate, one of the north of England’s most attractive towns, Ashville has excellent airport, major road and rail links.

Ashville College in top 100 schools

Ashville College has been named as one of the top 100 schools in the country by an independent assessment body. The school was assessed on its academic results, extra curricular activities, inspections and pastoral care.

It has previously been identified as having the best A-level results in Maths (2004) and Business Studies (2006).

Headmaster, Andrew Fleck, said "This award has come as a complete surprise- we had no idea that we were being considered for it. I am particularly pleased that the award recognises such a wide range of school activities."

Ashville Students' Double Success

Two students have been awarded in national organisations for their musical talents.

While Edward Appleby has achieved a place in the National Youth Boy's Choir of Great Britain, Alex Barker will be playing the violin in two national orchestras.

Alex, 11, is not only showcasing his musical talents in the national Children's Orchestra of Great Britain for the second time, he has also been selected to play in the elite National Chamber Orchestra.

Edward Appleby is the second pupil from the school who is celebrating prestigious recognition after gaining a coveted place in the National Youth Boy's Choir of Great Britain

‘FAST TRACK’ SCHEME SPEARHEADS GCSE EXAM SUCCESS FOR ASHVILLE

THE GCSE exam results of a pilot scheme, which aims to ‘fast track’ students through a GCSE subject a full year ahead of schedule, were among a number of success stories being celebrated by pupils.

Top performer was Ashley Dickerson, who achieved the rare accolade of a clean sweep of 10 A* grades.
