Pupils celebrate their success
Ashville Students Celebrate Superb GCSE Results

Students at Harrogate’s Ashville College have once again achieved a superb set of GCSE results, with almost half passing their exams with either A* or A grades.
Alex Taylor gained a colossal 10 A* and one A grade pass, while another five passed all of their exams with A* and A grades.
With no fewer than 92 per cent of pupils passing their exams with A* - C grades, it has again been a highly successful year for the co-ed independent school.
Ashville College’s incoming headmaster Mark Lauder, said: “These really are a superb set of GCSE exam results and ones of which we can be justifiably proud.
This is an excellent achievement on which to further build the strength of the College’s excellent academic performance.
“This year’s results have rewarded the hard work and dedication of our students and underline the high quality of teaching at the College. It is fair to say that Ashville College has cemented its position as one of the highest achieving schools in the region at GCSE level.”
Ashville welcomes Mark Lauder

We are pleased to announce the arrival of Mark and his family to Ashville College. They have now moved to the Headmaster's house on Green Lane, and are looking forward to being part of the Ashville Community. Speaking about the move, Mark said "Caroline, the boys and I are delighted to have finally arrived in Harrogate to become part of the Ashville Community.

"The family feel and friendly atmosphere the College has is what attracted us here as a family in the first place and moving in has been made easy by the kindness of the college staff who couldn't have been more helpful. The boys are excited about starting in the Pre-Prep and Junior Schools and Caroline and I are looking forward to meeting stafff, pupils and parents as well as Old Ashvillians and the wider community too.

"Ashville is a fantastic school and is poised to do great things thanks to the excellent work done by Andrew Fleck. I am looking forward to taking the College into the next phase. It is an exciting prospect - so watch this space!"

Coveted Grades for Ashville Students

Ashville students have excelled in the first year of the A* grade at A level with 10% of the total exams taken gaining the top grade. Head of School, Tom Taylor, scooped four of the coveted grades to complete a clean sweep of top grades since he entered the school in 1996.

65% of all exams were graded A-B making it the best set of A level exams in the school's history.

Outgoing headmaster Andrew Fleck said: "Competition for university places and within the labour market has never been keener. We are truly delighted with our students' success which will give them a competitive edge in their careers."
