Curriculum

The Junior School embraces the aims and objectives of the national curriculum and pupils take part in the end of Key Stage 2 Assessments before going on to Senior School. The curriculum is further enhanced by ample provision of wider subject areas e.g. foreign languages, music, drama and sport.

To broaden their experience pupils are encouraged to take part in a wide range of activities in break times and after school. In addition, they benefit from educational visits both at home and overseas.

Most Junior School children are set homework tasks each evening. There are many excellent reasons for setting homework, and it is very important that children learn to do prep in a sensible and disciplined way. Prep is set as a reasonable and relevant extension to work done in school.
