Careers and University
Careers guidance is an essential aspect of school life.
The Careers Department is based in the School Library Resource Centre where pupils can access essential careers and university related information via PC and online. A wide range of pamphlets and booklets about the requirements for various careers are also available.
Help and guidance is always available. Any pupil may receive independent careers advice by appointment through the school's Careers Co-ordinator.
We encourage pupils to attend career’s events and university open days as well as helping them to secure relevant work experience placements wherever possible.
Pupils are urged to consult Careers staff before making their final choice of A level subjects. In the Spring Term of the Lower Sixth, pupils take the Centigrade Higher Education Careers Programme produced by Cambridge Occupational Analysts. |
